Mandate and Responsibilities

The Pesticides Control Section  of the Department of Environment and Conservation is responsible for certain aspects of pesticide regulation in the province.  The specific responsibilities are outlined in the Environmental Protection Act, SNL2002 E-14.2, and the Pesticides Control Regulations, 2003
