Wildlife Reserves

Under the Wild Life Act, the Minister may, subject to the approval of Cabinet, make regulations to set aside reserves in which wildlife or a specified class of wildlife may not be hunted, taken or killed or may be hunted, taken or killed, subject only to conditions and restrictions set out in the regulations, and within which camping or traveling may be prohibited or may be permitted subject to restrictions.

Wild Life Reserves include:

  Wild Life Middle Ridge Reserve
  
  Wild Life Reserve, Big Barasway, Burgeo
  
  Little Grand Lake Wild Life Reserve (currently being drafted)
