Fuel Tank Replacement Program

The Government of
Newfoundland and Labrador has implemented an assistance program for low
income homeowners to help offset the cost of replacement of fuel oil
tanks.

The assistance program commenced April 1, 2002 and was to expire March 31, 2007. However, this deadline has been extended to March 31, 2009.

Households who use home
heating fuel as their primary source of heat may be eligible for the
grant upon replacement of a domestic fuel tank.
