A variety of wildlife services are actioned by Conservation Officers of field offices of the Forest Resources section including:

  removal of moose, polar bears, black bears, smaller mammals and other wildlife from residential areas
  rescue of injured or abandoned wildlife in conjunction with Salmonier Nature Park
  respond to moose-motor vehicle collisions
  relocation of beaver plugging culverts or otherwise causing damage to roadways
  measuring and stamping pelts
  collecting carcasses and other samples for Wildlife Division
  farm moose program
  various wildlife complaints including investigation of alledged illegal activity
