A variety of wildlife services are actioned by Conservation Officers of field offices of the
Forest Resources section including:

removal of moose, polar bears, black bears,
smaller mammals and other wildlife from residential areas |

rescue of injured or abandoned wildlife in
conjunction with Salmonier Nature Park |
| |
respond to moose-motor vehicle collisions |
| |
relocation of beaver plugging culverts or
otherwise causing damage to roadways |
| |
measuring and stamping pelts |
| |
collecting carcasses and other samples for
Wildlife Division |
| |
farm moose program |
| |
various wildlife complaints including
investigation of alledged illegal activity |
