Labour Relations Division (Unionized Workplaces)

The Labour Relations Division serves those employees and employers in the province who operate within unionized environments promoting a stable and constructive labour relations climate and fostering productive workplace relationships. The programs offered focus on facilitating the settlement of Collective Agreements, dispute resolution, appointment of arbitrators and workplace training.

The province has approximately 575 collective agreements and 83,600 unionized employees.

The Labour Relations Division has over an 80% success rate in grievance mediation.

The Labour Relations Division has a 98% success rate in conciliation without job action.

The Labour Relations Division provides competent, well-trained and neutral third party assistance to unions and employers through a wide range of programs and services.
