Overview

The Mineral Lands Division is responsible for legislation and
regulations governing the administration of the province's mineral
resources and their exploration and development.
|

Administration of mineral rights in the province, with
responsibility for setting policy, managing, staking and maintaining
records;
|
|
|
Administration of quarry materials through permitting and
enforcement of regulations;
|
|
|
Provision of advice and input to land use planning in the
province;
|
|
|
Management of the Province's core storage programme.
