A discontinuity in the succession of rocks representing a gap in time
and deposition; a buried erosion surface. Gently-dipping, grey sandstone
(younger rocks) overlies steeply dipping, bedded, black siltstone and
shale (older rocks) along an angular unconformable contact in the
Bonavista Bay area.
