Workforce Development Roundtables
(435 KB)The provincial government will host 22 roundtable discussions scheduled throughout Newfoundland and Labrador. The sessions are a key component of the Workforce Development Action Plan, which is an initiative of the Population Growth Strategy. The Workforce Development Roundtables will solicit stakeholder input on labour market trends, and educational, training, and staffing needs throughout the province. The detailed schedule of all the discussions can be found below.
Members of the local business community, post-secondary institutions, employers, labour organizations, municipal and local leaders, representatives of community groups, as well as the general public are all encouraged to attend.
You may direct inquiries or your interest in attending by emailing WorkforceDevelopment@gov.nl.ca. In your response, please identify which roundtable location you will be attending and if you require accommodation for any special needs.
