NOTE TO EDITORS:
Environment and Labour Minister Oliver Langdon and Fisheries and Aquaculture Minister John Efford have scheduled a news conference for 10 a.m. Thursday, September 18, in the Media Centre, Main Floor, East Block, Confederation Building.
The ministers will announce a task force relating to the Fishing Industry Collective Bargaining Act. Since 1971, fish prices for most principal fish species in Newfoundland and Labrador, including snow crab have been negotiated under this act.
