NOTE TO EDITORS:

The media are advised that Gerry Reid, parliamentary secretary to the premier as Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture, will be a guest speaker at the opening ceremonies of Marine Show 2000 today (November 23) at the St. John’s Memorial Stadium. Mr. Reid will be one of several speakers participating in the official opening ceremonies, which get underway at 2:00 p.m.
