The Corporate Services and Policy Branch is responsible for the overall financial and information management functions of the Department. The branch is also responsible for strategic planning, policy development, service improvement, as well as quality assurance and evaluation.

The branch provides financial management, internal auditing, privacy and information management services to Provincial Office and to regions.
The branch is also responsible for matters relating to human resources and information technology which are delivered by the Office of the Chief Information Officer.
Responsibilities include oversight of strategic planning for the Department and entities reporting to the Minister, program evaluation, statistics development and analysis, grants and contract administration and developing a service improvement and quality assurance program. The branch coordinates: web site renovation, legislative reviews, policy development, research and evaluation, and regulatory reform.
Direct clients are internal to government employees, elected officials, individuals requiring payments and individuals requesting access to information.
