Communications Division

Mandate

The primary function of the Communications Division is to ensure that there is a flow of accurate, timely and useful information between the department and its audiences, as well as among its various divisions. The Communications Division strives to create and maintain effective lines of communication both inside the department and between the department and clients, special interest groups, the media, other government departments and the general public. The division also coordinates the website redesign project for the department.
