The Department funds 19 agencies to develop and maintain job opportunities for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Job Trainer Supports: This program provides adults with intellectual disabilities supports to participate in meaningful employment. Employment Corporations and Agencies work with individuals to assist them in obtaining employment. Supports range from orientation and work analysis to full-time support from a job trainer.

School to Work Transitions: This program assists with the transition from high school to work and offers high school students with intellectual disabilities, the opportunity to participate in supported employment during evenings, weekends, or during the summer. The program works in partnership with schools and Employment Corporations and Agencies, providing supports to individuals to participate in meaningful employment. Supports range from orientation and work analysis to full-time support from a job trainer.
