Community Partnership Program
Advanced Education, Skills and Labour collaborates with community agencies to deliver supports and initiatives to help individuals to prepare for, attain and maintain employment, and make the transition to a new job.
Who Does it Serve?
A community agency that is:
- incorporated within the province of Newfoundland and Labrador
- working with groups such as: youth, women, persons with disabilities or older workers, and
- providing enhanced employment, career and workplace services to support labour force participation
Community agencies can avail of funding to design and deliver programs and services that:
- address the needs of individuals
- respond to identified labour market needs within the mandate of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour
- address gaps in current services, and
- demonstrate a cost-effective approach
The intended outcome of the Community Partnerships Program is to increase self-reliance for individuals, through successful attachment to employment, education or training.
How Do I Apply?
Community agencies can apply for funding through the Community Partnerships Program by submitting a proposal to Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, using the Accountability Framework:
On-line Application: Employers must register in the Department of Advanced Education, Skills and
Labour’ LaMPSS payment system to apply on-line. Once registration is complete, a password and user ID will be provided. To register, please press Register on LaMPSS system.
Program Guidelines have been developed in order to assist employers applying on-line.
Once registered on the LaMPSS system, employers may apply directly on-line and/or update information using its
self-serve function and the provided user password and ID. To apply on-line using the self-serve component of LaMPSS,
please link to the following website which contains LaMPSS User Guidelines, System Requirements and the Login LaMPSS Employer Self-Serve.
