The Student Financial Services Division will be strictly enforcing the following deadlines:
Eight weeks after the start of classes (includes Canada Student Grants for Services and Equipment for Students with Permanent Disabilities). Deadline date for semesters less than twelve weeks – two weeks after the first day of classes.
Eight weeks prior to the end of the period of study (semester) to which financial assistance being reviewed relates. For semesters less than twelve weeks, the deadline date is four weeks prior to the end of the period of study (semester) to which financial assistance being reviewed relates.
Income Confirmation Form (ICF)
After the first day of class for the current academic year but no later than eight weeks after the start of classes.
Note: If you have applied after the start of your first semester, an Income Confirmation Form is NOT required.
The Student Financial Services Division will make every effort to ensure your application is processed in a timely manner. Generally, an application is reviewed 10 business days after submission to allow sufficient time for the receipt of all required documentation.
NOTE: Students are reminded to submit all required forms and documentation as soon as possible after applying to avoid delay in processing.
The following service standards apply to the review of applications and appeals:
- Full-Time Applications
- Internet – 10 business days
- Paper – 20 business days
- Part-Time Applications – 10 business days
- Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment for Students with Permanent Disabilities – 10 business days
- All Appeals – 14 business days
- Audit Verification Form – 20 business days
- Emails – 3 business days
- Counter services – 30 minutes
