Inclusion Grants Funding

The Inclusion Grants funding for 2023-24 is closed.

Application Deadline: June 2, 2023

Through Children, Seniors and Social Development’s Disability Policy Office, the Inclusion Grants Funding Program provides grants of up to $25,000 to eligible community-based and non-profit organizations to help them create more accessible and inclusive facilities and events.

Initiatives under the Inclusion Grants Funding Program have included renovation projects, such as installation of ramps, automatic doors or visual alarms or disability-related accommodations for events and meetings, such as sign language interpretation or captioning.

Eligible applications include:

  • Non-profit organizations – examples: disability organizations, social organizations, women organizations, indigenous organizations, etc.
  • Community Organizations – examples: churches, festival committees, sports associations, lions clubs, etc.

Not eligible applications include:

  • Municipalities
  • Committee of municipalities
  • Private businesses
  • Regional health boards
  • Public and private educational institutions
  • School boards
  • Late Applications that are submitted past the deadline are automatically not eligible
