Newfoundland and Labrador Healthy Aging Research Program

The Newfoundland and Labrador Healthy Aging Research Program (NL-HARP) is funded by the provincial Department of Children, Seniors and Social Development and is administered by the Newfoundland and Labrador Centre for Applied Health Research. The aim of the program is to facilitate a stronger focus on research on aging and seniors. The program supports research that focuses on a wide variety of topics related to healthy aging.

World Health Organization

The World Health Organization is working with key partners on a Global Campaign to Combat Ageism – an initiative supported by WHO’s 194 Member States. The vision of the Campaign is a world for all ages. The goal of the Campaign is to change how we all think, feel and act towards age and ageing.
