Multiculturalism Week Events 2018

Held annually during the third week of March, Multiculturalism Week celebrates diversity in Newfoundland and Labrador. It is traditionally marked with festivals showcasing cultures that call Newfoundland and Labrador home.

Residents also display multi-coloured lights on homes, businesses and government buildings to demonstrate support for multiculturalism, and a sign of welcome to people of diverse backgrounds.

Multiculturalism Week 2018 is being celebrated from March 18-24 with a number of activities and events. Many of these events are open to the general public, and the Provincial Government encourages individuals to take advantage of this opportunity to engage in intercultural learning and understanding.

The following activities and events have been funded by the Department of Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, through the Office of Immigration and Multiculturalism.
