Job Matching

To help employers challenged to fill full-time job vacancies and newcomers seeking work, the Department of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills will be job-matching employers with qualified newcomers who are looking to immigrate permanently to Newfoundland and Labrador.

Individual Registration Process:

As part of ongoing efforts to accelerate immigration to 5,100 permanent residents annually by 2026, international graduates, the spouses of international students, as well as individuals who have open work permits here and in other parts of Canada who would like to relocate to the province, are invited to complete an on-line registration form here:

Individual Registration Form

The form will require each applicant to submit an electronic version of their work permit and resume, including their occupation classification. The department will be accepting applications from interested individuals on an ongoing basis.

Department staff will then work to match this group of newcomer applicants to the labour needs of participating employers.
