JGRD offers programs to support business and sector development in the craft and gift sectors, including the advisory services of the Craft and Gift Sector Specialist. To access these programs, products must fit the department’s Definitions of Craft and Gift.
PRODUCT REVIEW
The Product Review Committee comes together each year in January to review gift products for the purpose of exhibiting at the Craft and Gift Wholesale Show. The Committee will review products, wholesale price lists and promotional materials, and provide feedback. Products are reviewed and assessed on design, quality, marketability and originality/authenticity.

CRAFT AND GIFT WHOLESALE SHOW
The Craft and Gift Wholesale Show is organized annually by the Craft Council of Newfoundland and Labrador in partnership with JGRD. The Craft and Gift Wholesale Show is a juried show, and all exhibitors must have their products assessed to confirm they meet the criteria for participation in the show.

Gift products must be submitted to JGRD’s Product Review process. For more information, please contact: EconomicDevelopment@gov.nl.ca
Please note: Exhibitors do not have to be a member of the Craft Council to exhibit at this event.
