Geochemical Data from the Strange Lake Deposit, Labrador: Reanalyzed Drill Core Samples from 1979-1984 Exploration

Summary

This open file contains major element, trace element and rare-earth element (REE) data from archived drill core samples representing the StrangeLake deposit located in northern Labrador. The original samples were from exploration in the 1980s at the site, and had not previously been analyzed for a wide suite of elements. The reanalysis program was completed as part of an evaluation of proxy methods for estimating the REE from other data, in order to complete an informal resource estimate. More information on the study is presented in reports in Current Research (2012, 2013).
