The Honourable Perry Trimper, Speaker of the House of Assembly, advises that Her Honour the Honourable Judy M. Foote, P.C., O.N.L, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will prorogue the third session of the 48^th General Assembly the afternoon of Tuesday, April 2.

The Lieutenant Governor will read the Speech from the Throne at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, to officially open the fourth session.
