Sarah Stoodley, Parliamentary Secretary for Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation, will help launch the 19th Annual Nickel Independent Film Festival tomorrow (Tuesday, June 11). The event takes place at the Newfoundland Independent Film Cooperative (NIFCO) office, 40 Kings Road, St. John’s, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Celebrating local, national, and international independent film, the Nickel Independent Film Festival features workshops, screenings, panels, and networking events. This year’s festival is taking place at the LSPU Hall in St. John’s from June 17 to June 23.
