The Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development, will speak at the International Women’s Day Luncheon in North River on Sunday, March 8.

The event will take place at All Hallows Elementary School, Dr. Whalen’s Road, North River, beginning at 12:00 p.m.

International Women’s Day, held on March 8 every year, celebrates women’s achievement, raises awareness against bias and encourages individuals to take action for gender equality.
