Media Advisory:  Minister Warr to Attend Habitat for Humanity Home Dedication Ceremony in Happy Valley-Goose Bay

The Honourable Brian Warr, Minister Responsible for Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, along with Yvonne Jones, MP for Labrador, on behalf of the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, Minister of Families, Children and Social Development and Minister Responsible for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, will celebrate with new Habitat for Humanity partner families at a home dedication ceremony on Tuesday, October 13. The event will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion, 172 Hamilton River Road, Happy Valley-Goose Bay beginning at 11:00 a.m.

They will be joined by the Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister Responsible for Indigenous Affairs and Reconciliation and Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs, Perry Trimper, MHA for Lake Melville, and Wally Anderson, Mayor of Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

Habitat for Humanity Newfoundland and Labrador is a non-profit organization that helps families achieve affordable homeownership, delivered through a supportive team of volunteers and community partners.

Physical spacing and other public health guidelines will be in place.
