Applications are now being accepted for the K-6 Mathematics Bursary Program. Through the Education Action Plan, bursaries are offered to K-6 teachers to build capacity and to enhance math education in primary and elementary schools.
The department welcomes applications, in both English and French, from administrators and classroom teachers who work with K-6 students, including substitute teachers. For more information on the bursary program, including the application form, visit here. The deadline for fall applications is October 31.
Since 2018, more than $250,000 has been invested in mathematics professional learning opportunities for educators, including 72 K-6 teachers availing of $46,750 in bursaries.
