The Provincial Government is inviting applications for the 2020 Safe and Caring Schools Special Project Awards and Graduating Students Awards. The deadline for the Schools Special Projects Awards is December 14, 2020. The deadline for the Graduating Student Awards is May 1, 2021.

The Safe and Caring Special Project Awards support initiatives that provide leadership in the development and maintenance of safe and inclusive school environments.

The Safe and Caring Schools Graduating Student Awards aim to promote student awareness of the Safe and Caring Schools Policy and acknowledge the contributions of youth in establishing and maintaining safe and caring schools and communities. Information on the awards can be found here.

The Provincial Government supports safe, caring and inclusive environments encouraging all students to reach their full potential. Schools are supported in their implementation of the Safe and Caring Schools Policy and inclusive education practices.
