Candidate nominations closed at 2:00 p.m. today, September 15, for the Humber – Gros Morne by-election. The four officially nominated candidates are as follows:

Advance polls will be open on Tuesday, September 29 (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.).
By-election day is Tuesday, October 6 (8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.).
Special Ballot voting is also available for anyone who would like to avail of the option. Applications are being accepted at both Elections Newfoundland and Labrador’s headquarters and the district Returning Office, until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29.
