Public Advisory: Three Resource Road Bridges to Undergo Planned Maintenance in Grand Falls-Windsor Area

Subject to weather conditions, scheduled maintenance on three bridges along resource roads in the Grand Falls-Windsor area will start on Wednesday, December 16 and continue through to Thursday, December 24. This will also include weekend work on December 19 and 20.

The three bridges affected are:

  • Main Exploits River Bridge – behind the former Abitibi Paper Mill site
  • Upper Stoney Brook Bridge – one kilometer from the Main Exploits River Bridge
  • Little Rattling Brook Bridge – four kilometers along the Paradise Lake resource road

Users of resource roads in these areas can expect long delays during the maintenance period. Individuals seeking additional information should contact the Forestry and Wildlife office in Bishop’s Falls at 709-258-5334.
