Arts and Culture Centres to Open across the Province

September 4, 2020

Arts and Culture Centres, located in Corner Brook, Gander, Grand Falls, Labrador City, Stephenville and St. John’s, will re-open to the public on Tuesday, September 8.

To ensure the well-being of patrons, staff, and performers, several new safety procedures have been implemented.

For each performance, every second row will remain unsold/vacant, and three seats on either side of each individual/group will remain unoccupied. Regular theatre amenities such as coat check, bar service and concessions will not be available, as the traditional intermission recess is not permitted. Late arrivals will not be provided admission to the theatre.

Tickets can be purchased by telephone only, and will not be available at the box office or online at this time.

In accordance to Public Health guidelines, masks are to be worn until the patron is seated inside the theatre. Refunds will be available to those who are sick or unwell the night of the scheduled event.

Other services such as libraries, rehearsal and studio space will also resume with restricted access. Admittance to these areas will be restricted during regular operating hours, and clients and patrons are advised to contact administration offices or visit websites for access protocols to facility.
