Motorists on the Avalon Peninsula are advised that Witless Bay Line will be closed Saturday, September 19, beginning at 6:00 a.m. as work is undertaken to replace a culvert on the highway.

Motorists are asked to use an alternate route.

The department anticipates the highway reopening by 6:00 p.m.

Updates will be provided as they become available on www.nl511.ca and the NL 511 smartphone app.
