Media Advisory: Minister Bragg to Participate in Sod-Turning Event for Mental Health Unit in Happy Valley-Goose Bay

The Honourable Derrick Bragg, Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, will participate in a sod-turning ceremony for a new mental health unit in Happy Valley-Goose Bay on Tuesday, October 13. The ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Labrador Health Centre at 227 Hamilton River Road.

Minister Bragg will be joined by the Honourable Lisa Dempster, Minister Responsible for Indigenous Affairs and Reconciliation, Minister Responsible for Labrador Affairs, and Minister Responsible for the Status of Women; the Honourable Brian Warr, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development; Perry Trimper, MHA for Lake Melville; Yvonne Jones, MP for Labrador; and Heather Brown, CEO of Labrador-Grenfell Health.

Physical distancing and other public health guidelines will be in place for this event.
