Applications are now being accepted for the K-6 Mathematics Bursary Program. The deadline for fall applications is October 31, 2021.
Through the Education Action Plan, bursaries are offered to K-6 teachers to build capacity and to enhance math education in primary and elementary schools.
The Department of Education welcomes applications from administrators and teachers who work with K-6 students, including replacement and substitute teachers. More information on the bursary program, including the application form, can be found here.
Enhancing mathematics is a key ongoing focus area of Education Action Plan. Since 2018, more than $250,000 has been invested in mathematics professional learning opportunities for educators, including $57,500 in bursaries for almost 100 K-6 teachers.
