The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable John G. Abbott, Minister of Children, Seniors and Social Development and Minister Responsible for the Newfoundland and Labrador Housing Corporation, will announce funding for community-based projects to support housing solutions for vulnerable populations tomorrow (Friday, November 19).

They will be joined by the Honourable Ahmed Hussen, federal Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion and Minister Responsible for Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, and the Honourable Seamus O’Regan Jr., federal Minister of Labour and MP for St. John’s South-Mount Pearl.

The announcement will take place at the Salvation Army Ches Penney Centre of Hope, 18 Springdale St. John’s at 1:00 p.m.

NLVaxPass requirements will be in place for attendees.

This event is by invitation only as we are adhering to public health guidelines and there is limited capacity.
