The House of Assembly Standing Committee on Public Accounts has received a report of the Auditor General on the MV Veteran and MV Legionnaire. The report is the result of a request from the Committee to the Auditor General in March 2018 to undertake a review of the process used to purchase the two vessels, and the number of issues related to mechanical issues since they came in to service.

The report is currently before the Public Accounts Committee and is subject to parliamentary privilege at this time. A further update will be provided once the Committee has met to review the report and determine next steps.
