Supporting Business Development on the Burin Peninsula

December 30, 2021

Support from the Provincial Government will assist a unique Burin Peninsula company in attracting new clients throughout North America and beyond.

With production facilities in Grand Bank and Fortune, Dynamic Air Shelters Ltd. designs, engineers and manufactures lightweight, rapidly deployable textile shelters in four distinct markets: oil and gas, construction, first responder operations, and the promotional sector. To assist in the development, building and testing of a multi-layer blast shelter, the company received a non-repayable $100,000 contribution from the Provincial Government’s Business Development Support Program.

Dynamic Air Shelters Ltd. will modify and test one of its blast resistant shelters, with an aim to further diminish the damaging effects of a shock wave inside one of its structures. Proof of this protection will play a role in attracting new orders and contracts from industrial companies throughout the globe.

The Provincial Government is committed to supporting international business development activity, which is vital to the retention and growth of Newfoundland and Labrador companies.
