The Honourable Krista Lynn Howell, Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, along with the Honourable Pam Parsons, Minister Responsible for Women and Gender Equality, and Amy Coady-Davis, President of Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador (MNL), will lead a conversation on the 2021 municipal elections during a virtual event tomorrow (Friday, August 20) at 10:30 a.m. Also participating in the discussion will be social activist, Laurabel Mba, and Mayor Tom Rose of Stephenville.

The discussion will cover topics such as what it is like to serve on council and how people can get involved. The event will take place via Zoom and will be live-streamed on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Facebook account.
