Provincial Parks Launch New Brand and Website

April 14, 2021

The Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, today announced the launch of a new website and brand for Provincial Parks.

The website displays a new look and feel for ParksNL and is designed to encourage residents of all ages to disconnect from technology and reconnect to everything the great outdoors has to offer within the Provincial Parks.

Provincial Parks are not limited to overnight camping. There are 32 Provincial Parks throughout Newfoundland and Labrador offering much to do and enjoy, including:

  • 13 camping parks
  • Seven day use parks
  • T’Railway Provincial Park
  • Main River Waterway Provincial Park
  • 10 park reserves

Starting on April 19, campers are invited to visit the online Campsite Reservation System to view the campsite inventory and to become familiar with the upgraded campsite reservation system. The upgraded system requires that all campers create a new profile prior to making a reservation.

The Campsite Reservation System will begin accepting reservations for the 2021 camping season starting 7:00 a.m. NDT, on Wednesday, April 28. A detailed public advisory with park opening and closing dates will be issued closer to the opening date.

“I am delighted to see the new ParksNL website launched today. The redesign has a fresh new look that better highlights our unique park experiences and I am excited for the people of our province to get out and take advantage of what these incredible parks have to offer. Reconnecting with the outdoors is such an important message for both our mental and physical health, especially during these times.”

Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation
