The Newfoundland T’Railway Council, in partnership with the Parks Division of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, are preparing to start their bridge re-decking project for the 2021 season.

Two trestles in the Black Duck Siding area, one in Stephenville Crossing, and one in the Deer Lake area, will be first to be addressed this year. Gander River and Butt’s Pond bridges will follow later. Additional bridges in the eastern, central or western region may be closed and re-decked as part of this project.

Users are advised to use caution in construction zones and to expect delays.
