ParksNL of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation invites photographers to submit their favourite images of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Provincial Parks representing this year’s theme, “Friends and Family”. Entrants will have an opportunity to win the grand prize of one week of camping in a Provincial Park of their choosing.
To qualify for entry, photographs should include:
- Image(s) of two or more people enjoying a Provincial Park (visit parksnl.ca/parks/ for a list of provincial parks)
- Image of individuals participating in activities such as camping, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, picnicking, swimming, enjoying nature, etc.
The entry deadline is September 10, 2021.
Aside from the grand prize, the top three photo submissions will receive a seasonal vehicle pass, and there will be two random draws of all entrants for a seasonal vehicle pass.
Submissions are required in a high resolution digital format, at a minimum of 300 dpi 600×800. More information regarding the rules and regulations of the contest can be found here. Contest entries can be submitted to info@parksnl.ca.
