On Monday, May 30, 2022, the Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister Responsible for Francophone Affairs, will raise the Newfoundland and Labrador Francophone flag in recognition of Provincial Francophonie Day.

The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the East Block lobby of Confederation Building.

In the evening, the exterior of the building will also be lit in red, white and blue in recognition.

This event is hosted by the Newfoundland and Labrador Francophone Federation. The Minister will be joined by students from École Rocher-du-Nord, Rose des Vents choir, as well as representatives from various Francophone community organizations.
