The Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, has announced the following events relative to Part 10 Environmental Assessment of the Environmental Protection Act.

UNDERTAKING REJECTED:

Lewisporte Waste to Energy Plant                                                        (Reg. 2181)
Proponent: EnviroPower Renewable Development Inc.

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has determined that the proposed undertaking is contrary to law or to a policy of the province, and has directed that the undertaking not proceed.
