The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, and the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, along with Yvette Coffey, President of the Registered Nurses’ Union Newfoundland and Labrador, will make an announcement regarding initiatives for registered nurses and nurse practitioners in the province.

The event will take place tomorrow (Tuesday, March 1) in Salon A of the Sheraton Hotel, 115 Cavendish Square, St. John’s, beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Media covering the availability will have the opportunity to join in person. In-person attendees will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination via the NLVaxPass, wear a face covering at all times, and remain at least two metres apart from others.
