Media Advisory: Premier Furey to Provide Details on Supporting Business Development for Newcomers

The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador and the Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, will participate in an announcement regarding an amendment to the Corporations Act, that supports business development for newcomers to the province. The event takes place tomorrow (Friday, March 25, 2022) at 3 Cashin Avenue, St. John’s, beginning at 10:00 a.m., and coincides with the grand opening of Newbornlander Baby Store Inc.

They will be joined by the Honourable Sarah Stoodley, Minister of Digital Government and Service NL, the Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills and Constanza Safatle, owner of Newbornlander Baby Store Inc.

The event will be livestreamed on Facebook.
