Media Advisory: Premier Furey to Highlight Film and Television Investments

The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will highlight Budget 2022 investments in the film and television industry at an event tomorrow (Wednesday, April 13) at 12:00 p.m. The announcement will take place at the site of the future College of the North Atlantic Film and Media Production Centre, 116 Strawberry Marsh Road, St. John’s.

Premier Furey will be joined by the Honourable Tom Osborne, Minister of Education, the Honourable Steve Crocker, Minister of Tourism, Culture, Arts and Recreation, the Honourable Gerry Byrne, Minister of Immigration, Population Growth and Skills, Liz Kidd, President and CEO of College of the North Atlantic and John Vatcher, Executive Producer with Take the Shot Productions.

The announcement will be live-streamed on the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador’s Facebook page.
