The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, Deputy Grand Chief Mary Ann Nui of the Innu Nation, and retired Provincial Court Judge James Igloliorte, Chief Commissioner for the Commission of Inquiry into the Treatment, Experiences and Outcomes of Innu in the Child Protection System, will be available today (Friday, April 29) to discuss the launch of the Inquiry.

They will be joined by Commissioners Anastasia Qupee and Dr. Mike Devine and members of the Innu leadership.

The availability will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the lobby of East Block, Confederation Building.

Masking, physical distancing and other public health guidelines will be in place.
