The Honourable Andrew Furey, Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, will announce a solution to address additional surgical backlogs today (Thursday, May 19).

He will be joined by the Honourable John Haggie, Minister of Health and Community Services, David Diamond, President and CEO, Eastern Regional Health Authority, and Dr. Keegan Au, Orthopedic Surgeon.

The availability will take place in St. John’s in the main lobby of East Block, Confederation Building at 12:30 p.m.
