The Honourable Krista Lynn Howell, Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, will announce support for the Clean Harbours Initiative, tomorrow (Wednesday, July 27) at 11:00 a.m. at Atlantic Recreation, 17 Corey King Drive, Mount Pearl. Minister Howell will be joined by the Honourable Bernard Davis, Minister of Environment and Climate Change, and Shawn Bath, founder of Clean Harbours Initiative.
Clean Harbours Initiative was established in 2018 to remove trash from harbours and educate the public about threats to the ocean environment posed by marine plastics and abandoned fishing gear.
