The Honourable Krista Lynn Howell, Minister of Municipal and Provincial Affairs, will announce funding to support ongoing diversity and inclusion work in the province’s municipal sector in partnership with Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador (MNL) and Equal Voice NL.

The announcement will take place during the Future of the Vote program tomorrow (Friday, October 21), East Block lobby, Confederation Building at 12:30 p.m.

Minister Howell will be joined by the Honourable Pam Parsons, Minister Responsible for Women and Gender Equality; Trina Appleby, Vice-President of Municipalities Newfoundland and Labrador; Courtney Clarke, Co-Chair, Equal Voice NL; and Lesley Pilgrim, delegate to the Future of the Vote program.

The announcement will also be live-streamed on Facebook.
