The west wing of Confederation Building, East Block, from the basement to the fifth floor will remain closed Monday, October 24, due to a power outage.

Repairs to restore power are continuing. Government business will not be impacted as departments have developed plans to ensure operations continue. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure anticipates repairs to be completed later this week.

Confederation Building, West Block, and all other areas of East Block remain open.

More information on repairs and the west wing of East Block reopening will be provided as repairs continue.
